The final Saturday Night Live of 2020 opens with Vice-President Mike Pence acting as Donald Trump’s “human shield” by receiving the new Covid vaccine on live television. Much to his dismay, he’s joined by VP-elect Kamala Harris (Maya Rudolph), who quickly and literally slaps down his attempts to cast doubt on the election results.

They are joined by President-elect Joe Biden, who “looks different” now he’s played by Kyle Moffat, rather than Jim Carrey (or Jason Sudeikis or Woody Harrelson or John Mulaney). Harris has to rush Biden offstage to keep him from injuring himself physically or politically, but they’re replaced by fast and pointless cameos from Kate McKinnon as Rudy Giuliani – the show gets around to making fun of his running hair dye about a month too late – and Keenan Thompson as Ben Carson.
The departure of Carrey’s Biden (and presumably Baldwin’s Trump, although I won’t be surprised if they give him a big send-off when they return next year) brings double relief, mostly because he was insufferable in the role but also because it’s about time the show gives a regular cast member the chance to play the president. That said, Moffat’s first impression left a lot to be desired, more like George W Bush than Biden.
More disconcerting is the creeping notion that SNL is going to center its cold opens around Rudolph by presenting Harris as the true power behind the throne. This would be a massive mistake, not only because it would continue the show’s over-reliance on guest stars, but also because that characterization of the Biden-Harris dynamic is total wish fulfilment for both dopey liberals and rightwing conspiracy mongers, with no potential for incisive satire.

This initially confuses the other grunts, but they’re eventually won over. There’s no real conclusion, and it all wraps up with a big dance party.

After a sneak preview for the second season of the FX drama A Teacher, in which the target of a teenager’s infatuation is a no-nonsense older black woman who’s having none of it, we are shown the lost ending to Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Kevin McCallister (Melissa Villasenor) realizes he can use his dad’s credit card to help pull the friendly Central Park Pigeon Lady out of poverty, only to be foiled by villains Harry and Marv (Mikey Day and Kyle Mooney, doing pretty solid impressions of Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern). This leads to the Pigeon Lady brutally killing the pair, impaling them over and over with her umbrella in front of a traumatized Kevin.
Lipa performs Don’t Start Now, before Weekend Update host Colin Jost gets a huge applause off the bat when he announces that “barring a Christmas miracle, this is the last Weekend Update with Donald Trump as president”. He remembers some of Trumps greatest moments – the McDonalds dinner banquet, the glowing orb, petting a kid dressed as a Minion, the time he cruelly impersonated a disabled reporter – by way of a montage scored to Semisonic’s Closing Time.
Michael Che welcomes musical legend Smokey Robinson (Chris Redd), recently in the news for mispronouncing Chanukah in a Cameo video. The singer is surprised to hear that Che knew about the holiday, explaining that “when I was growing up all we had was white people … I only heard about Jewish people this last week.” It’s good to see Redd back front and center.
Next, Michael’s friendly but deranged neighbor Willie tries to help him get over his Covid vaccine skepticism, explaining that his grandfather “was the first person chosen to take a miracle vaccine that would make his town safe again … it was called the lethal injection!” Willie is one of Kennan Thompson’s best characters – it’s always a blast when he shows up.
Che welcomes a third guest, an Instagram influencer (Heidi Gardner) there to give good ideas for last-minute presents. She promises “no sponsored ads” but ends up cutting promos for Merrill Lynch, HBO Max’s Dune movie and wholesale X-ray technology from Hitachi. The switch from ditzy airhead to mercenary pitchwoman is very good.

It turns out the Grinch’s heart was “not the only thing that grew three sizes”. This is followed by the return of another Wiig favorite, the excitable Sue, who destroys everything while attempting to keep a lid on her family’s surprise party. Though they are all organized in different categories, users may still have no idea how to find out where the required files are when facing such a huge amount of files. 1. If you still have part of the file name in mind or you just require a specific file extension, enter the keyword in the search box to list all related files.
2. List the files by Path or Type, which could help you locate lost data with a much more effective way.
3. RAW files and Label RAW Files are all found from the content part of a partition. They do not have original file names, file sizes, and time stamps, but worth checking.
Tips:
Some files can be previewed before you save them, including Videos, Audios, Pictures, andDocuments.
For the case, file lost due to partition loss or become RAW, the user needs to recover all files in the partition first, then rebuild the partition with the recovered files. There is no way to directly rebuild the partition with our product.

Centuries after they were introduced to Europe and North America, potatoes represent one of the most important parts of world’s cuisine and the fourth-largest food crop in the entire world (following maize, rice and wheat). Today, extensive research and the centuries of selective breeding, we now have access to over thousand different types of potatoes that are grown all around the word.

Sadly, local population of those countries looked at potato as absolutely unneeded, weird, poisonous (only roots of the plant were edible, which was totally unheard off in Europe), and in some cases as downright evil. For many years, potato was accused for causing leprosy, syphilis, early death, sterility, rampant sexuality, scrofula, narcosis and for destroying the soil where it grew. This sentiment receded from the Europe only after large scale efforts of France to find food that would sustain not only their military, but also population that was starved from continuous warfare. Long examination of the potato by the famous French botanist and chemist Antoine-Augustin Parmentier finally paid off when he persuaded King of France Louis XVI (1754–1793) to encourage mass cultivation of this plant my tricking the population. King gave Parmentier funds and land to grow 100 acres of potato, which were carefully guarded by military guards. Such large military and government attention on guarding these potatoes instantly sparked the attention of the people, who after that started adopting potato more and more until it became one of the most popular food sources in the Europe. The wife of the French king Marie Antoinette (1755-1793) also contributed by pining potato flowers in her curls, a move that was quickly emulated by noble ladies all across the Europe.
In early 1800s, potato became a commonplace crop that was used in entire Europe, but such popularity became severely tested between 1845 and 1849 when disease destroyed entire potato production of Ireland. During this “Great Starvation” around one million people died from starvation, and forced large amount of people to emigrate out of Ireland (500 thousand left for North America and Australia).
United States of America was the last major country who adopted potato in their cuisine. For many years they regarded this crop for horses and other animals. Only after the 1872 efforts of famous horticulturist Luther Burbank (1849-1926), American potato industry managed to gain some traction. In 20th century, potato became accepted across entire world as one of the most beloved and produced food sources, effectively becoming the most essential crop of Europe. Its high caloric value and wide variety of types enabled it to appear in every cuisine in the world. In 2010 world production of potatoes reached incredible 324 million tons (74.8 million tons in China, 36.6 in India, 21.1 in Ukraine, 18.3 in United States and 10.2 in Germany, etc.).
Potatoes are coming back to Taco Bell. Earlier this week, the fast-food joint announced it was reversing course to bring back the option after slashing a substantial part of its menu last fall. Suffice to say, fans are ecstatic over the move — so much so, the addition has become the talk of social media.
’The return of our beloved potatoes is just the first step in showing our fans the strong continued commitment to vegetarian we are making this year,’ said Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s Global Chief Food Innovation Officer. ’We have long been a leader in the vegetarian space, but this year, we have more meatless options in store that vegetarians, veggie-curious and even meat-eaters will love.’

When a market closes up for consecutive days, traders get excited. They start speculating that the market cannot continue its upwards streak. Somehow, we are wired to think that what goes up must come down, and vice versa. (See: Gambler’s Fallacy)
This is why consecutive up/down days form the basis of many stock scans and market strategy research. Traders want to find out if there is an edge in buying after consecutive down days or selling after consecutive up days.
In these studies, they approached the trading idea as quantitative system traders. The results seem encouraging, but they are not conclusive of an actual trading edge. This is especially true for discretionary price action traders.

The chart above shows the daily bars of SPY, the S&P ETF. The price action in this chart is less straightforward.
*There was a strong bearish plunge that was hard to ignore. It breached the last swing low so it was not a candidate setup under this trading strategy.
*But after the bearish plunge, the market rose with seven consecutive bullish bars that did not hit the last swing high. That was in line with our trading rules.
*We sold a tick below this bearish bar and was stopped out as the market continued to rise.
After the strong bearish plunge, the market rose sharply, forming a V-shaped reversal. Interpreting such V-shaped patterns is tricky. It shows strength in both directions and it is difficult to judge which side will emerge victorious.Review – Consecutive Up/Down Days Low Risk Entry
In most markets, there are many instances of consecutive up/down days. Most back-testing research trades them indiscriminately. Thus, they are going against the trend most of the time.
Using the market structure to filter consecutive up/down days is a simple method to make sure that we take only the low risk setups. This is akin to the improved three bar pullback trading strategy.
There will be fewer trading setups. However, it is a worthwhile sacrifice for better trading quality.
Other than the market context, you can also pay attention to the price thrust formed by the consecutive bars.

They admitted they made a mistake and sweetened the deal to make the hassle worth it. A “bravo” moment in my book, this tactic is simple enough for any company (no matter how small) to keep customers happy and coming back.Example 3: The CVS Good Samaritan Vans
You might not think of CVS, the drug store chain when you see a stranded motorist on the side of the highway, but after reading this example, maybe you will. One woman tells Consumerist that she got a flat tire on a busy highway in Washington D.C. She called her husband, but he was going to be a while until he could get there. Then, within minutes, a CVS Good Samaritan Van pulled up.
She said to Consumerist: “The gentleman, Ernie, introduced himself and got right down to business to put on my spare. He even apologized for being tied up with another driver farther back. He told me I could call my husband and tell him not to worry. Five minutes later, my tire was fixed and I was on my way. CVS only asks that you fill out a postage-paid comment card. Because of this service, I will definitely be shopping at CVS more often. Thanks to CVS and to Ernie, who helped me out of a jam on Southbound 395.”
